A little bit more hard core punk rock. This rough east coast edge of the song makes it legendary. Listen Now!

8. Less Than Jake – Johnny Quest Thinks We’re Sellouts

Johnny Quest Thinks We’re Sellouts was my introduction to the 90s punk rock songs from Less Than Jake. The ska-punk sound of Less Than Jake is the perfect mix of the two genres. They made so many great ska punk rock songs, but in this list their break through hitsong could not be forgotten.

7. Lagwagon – May 16th

The talented Joey Cape has created numerous create 90s punk rock songs. My 16th was released on their left over album and my god what a waist it would have been if we never heard this song. Then think about the quality of the rest! Lagwagon has been in the upper echelon of 90s punk rock since the debut album! **DUH**
PS: have you ever heard Lagwagon songs on the piano? Wow!

6. The Offspring – All I Want

Not the most famous punk rock song from The Offspring and not even their best but it is everything punk rock is supposed to be: powerfull, rioty, short and with a message. Love it!

As you may have noticed I like to select the odd one from legendary albums. For me those less known 90s punk rock songs are the little gems we should be talking about.

Green Day opened the punk rock ball in 1994, together with The Offspring. Basket Case was their break through and everyone knew new times arrived.

2. Rancid – Give ’em The Boot 

Okay, I know the real title of this 90s punk rock song is ‘Roots Radicals’, but ‘Give em the Boot’ sounds so good! What a killer song! The songs comes from their ever green album “… And out come the Wolves”. The main reason why it ends up in second place is because my five year old son is singing along (in his own word) every day. It is his favourite punk rock song, so this 90s punk rock is now top of mind!
